DESCRIPTION

Does knowledge in modern times still have any meaning and values for our society? Will the real power be carried out only by influencer through social media? Unemployed academic Sophie is immature and hypochondriac. She has very strong and close relation with her brother, Karim. She is forced to change the way she thinks and lives her life when her beloved brother falls in love with Sophie’s’ gynecologist, Éloise.

DIRECTOR
Monia Chokri (1983) Canadian actress, screenwriter and filmmaker from Quebec. She played the roles in the films of Denys Arcand, Anne Emond and Xavier Dolan. An Extraordinary Person (2013) is her first film as writer and director. A Brother’s Love (2019) is her full-length feature debut, shown in Cannes and awarded by Jury Coup de Coeur Un Certain Regard.
