PJ Harvey is one of the world’s most respected and awarded recording artists. From the outset of her career she has commanded global attention as an accomplished composer, multi-instrumentalist, lyricist, and poet. A Dog Called Money is a documentary of the creative process behind Seamus Murphy’s project with Harvey, their working together in Kosovo, Afghanistan and Washington DC and the chronicling of the recording of the album inspired by their travels. Film received its global premiere at the 2019 edition of the Berlin Film Festival.

Seamus Murphy (1959) He is an award-winning photographer, filmmaker and author. He grew up in Ireland and lives in London. For over two decades, he has photographed extensively in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Latin America. He has won several World Press Photo Awards. He aims to explore further the shared language of photography and filmmaking. He has made films for Channel 4 Television in the UK and The New Yorker in the US, video clips and music films.
