DESCRIPTION

Young count Józio Lulewicz leads a hullabaloo lifestyle(imprezuje, pije i chodzi na dziwki). He wants to take money from his aristocratic family and set up music theatre with friends. One night he breaks a window in a shoemaker's workshop. Next morning he visits the workshop again and instead to pay for a broken glass window he is employed by a shoemaker. In that way Józio wants blackmail a family. Joanna, young, but strong and determined foreman's daughter is running family business and new terminator Józio catches her eye. Facing the threat of a misalliance, Józio's mother is ready to finance the opening of the theatre, but in return Józio must renounce his love for Joanna.

DIRECTOR
Mieczysław Krawicz (1893-1944) Film director, screenwriter, set designer, production manager. By the outbreak of World War II, Krawicz had made over a dozen films, mainly comedies and melodramas. He often combined stories of feelings with comedic poetics, and he can be considered a precursor to romantic comedies. He was the production manager of The Chronicle of Siege of Warsaw (1939) and head of cinematography in the Warsaw Uprising, during which he died.
