Story about migration perfectly capturing the very essence of contemporary loneliness. Around 400 people from a little Polish Masurian village have emigrated to Iceland since the 80’s and nobody has returned. Behind stayed mostly older generation, hoping for the reunion. But now their children and grandchildren are settling into new lives on the other side of Europe. Both don’t have enough time and money to travel often, but thanks to Skype and other facilities they are ‘in touch’. But illusion of being just few steps away is literally illusion.
