DESCRIPTION

Stefcia is sixteen and all her friends envy her harmonious and loving parents. Mr and Mrs Nałęcz are considered to be a remarkably good couple. Their second life comes to light: Mrs. Nałęcz is in relationship with an actor Jerzy, Mr. Nałęcz is having an affair with his own secretary Amelka. Decision of divorce is made and Stefa can't accept it. She has to make a dramatic choice of which parent to stay with. Driven to the extreme, she tries to commit suicide by shooting herself with a gun.

DIRECTOR
Mieczysław Krawicz (1893-1944) Film director, screenwriter, set designer, production manager. By the outbreak of World War II, Krawicz had made over a dozen films, mainly comedies and melodramas. He often combined stories of feelings with comedic poetics, and he can be considered a precursor to romantic comedies. He was the production manager of The Chronicle of Siege of Warsaw (1939) and head of cinematography in the Warsaw Uprising, during which he died.
